Welsh Lady Desk Bell
Lovely Welsh Lady Desk Bell.
I believe she may have been brass plated but the brass has worn away and she is now very silvery. A silver coloured base metal.
She is carrying two pails on a shoulder yoke. The pails hitting the skirt make the bell sound.
Whilst the outside of her skirt is clean and has polished well the inside of the bell is very grubby and I think she may have been used to snuff out candles.
Whatever she was I think she's a delight.
